This project was hellish to complete, but it turned out well in the end. At first, I wanted to create three Brownstone buildings. I based my models off of images of stoops I personally took, and found online. These older structures are extremely detailed, with ornate trim and architecture. Adding the details was time consuming, and in my rush to get the project done, I allowed the topology to become sloppy. This came back to bite me later on, because it made UV mapping and adding texture harder than it needed to be. My favorite part was adding the materials to the model. The peeled paint effects and fractal colors elevate the project.
